2. What data we collect

When you request a quote

We collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, postcode, property type, and any message you include. We also record the page you were on when you submitted the form.

When you use the site

Calculator inputs and meter readings are stored in your browser only and never sent to us. If you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymised usage data via Google Analytics (see our cookie policy).

3. How we use your data

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange a free survey
• To share your details with our installation partner, Home Heating Services (Scotland) Ltd, so they can contact you about your quote
• To improve this website (anonymised analytics only, with your consent)

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone other than our installation partner for the purpose of fulfilling your enquiry.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your quote data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your request). For analytics cookies, the legal basis is consent, which you can grant or refuse via the cookie banner.

5. How long we keep your data

Quote enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default settings (14 months) and is anonymised.

6. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time

• Supabase — secure database for storing enquiry data (EU-hosted)
• Zapier — forwards your enquiry to our team for prompt follow-up
• Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics 4 — anonymised usage analytics (only with your consent)
